Sire

Sire, Dark Pleasure, was by Ufo out of Wild Pleasure (by Jazz). He was approved at the 2011 KWPN Stallion Licensing and passed the performance testing in the autumn that same year. His competition career began under German Jana Freund, who rode him in the 2012-2013 KWPN Stallion Competition circuit and finished 17th in the semi-finals of the 2012 Pavo Cup.

In 2013 Dark Pleasure qualified to compete at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, but was withdrawn just a few days before the show due to an injury. He was trained up to small tour level. Dark Pleasure sired the stallions, It’s a Pleasure, Kaiman, and King’s Pleasure.

Dam Line

His dam, Sangaku TF, is a lovely mare with beautiful, elastic gaits and a lovely disposition. Damsire, Sir Donnerhall, is currently ranking 3rd on the list of the world’s best dressage sires. Many of Sir Donnerhall’s offspring have been successful in international Grand Prix competitions.

Again and again Sir Donnerhall I set unique records with his heredity. In addition to Special Diva OLD (2014) and Smirnoff (2016), their full siblings Cindy OLD (2013), Sir Heinrich (2014), Candy OLD (2017), Caty OLD (2018) and Casey OLD (2020) won gold medals at the German Championships. Candy OLD and Casey OLD were also Oldenburg Champion Mares and thus lead the crowd of over 380 award winning daughters of Sir Donnerhall I. Candy OLD also won the bronze medal at the World Championships for young dressage horses (5y.o.). Sa Coeur became double World Champion and price highlight of the P.S.I Auction, with a knockdown price of 2.31 million euros and has been placed in international Grand Prix competitions. He is only one of the many auction price record holders by Sir Donnerhall I.

He has produced over 100 licensed stallions, including numerous champion and premium stallions as well as Sir Olli/Enrique Cruces Fernandez/ESP, bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses and successful in Grand Prix.

Many of Sir Donnerhall I’s daughters have produced stallions, as can be seen with Champion Stallions Dynamic Dream, Feinrich and Fynch Hatton, Regional Champion Zauberlehrling PS OLD, Don Romance PS OLD, who was placed third at the Regional Championships, Sezuan’s Donnerhall, double stallion performance test record winner, Ib main premium winner Total Diamond PS, as well as Glock’s Total U.S./Edward Gal/NED, placed fifth at the Olympics, and Force Majeure ex. Fürst Bayram OLD/Frederic Wandres, 1.7 million euro price sensation of the P.S.I. Auction, Oldenburg Regional Champion, who was placed eleventh at the German Championships for young dressage horses. The Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion and P.S.I. record top price Fasine OLD and her full brother For Romance II have a dam by Sir Donnerhall I. At the German Foal Championships in 2019, Sir Donnerhall I produced another exceptional foal, the second placed filly. In 2021, Sammy de Luxe won the Austrian Warmblood Foal Championships.

Sir Donnerhall was second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2003, winner of his stallion performance test and awarded the Ia main premium in 2005, and German Champion and Vice World Champion (5y.o.) in 2006. He is now trained to advanced level. Due to the high breeding demands, he is no longer competed.
